6TH VIETNAM INTERNATIONAL CHOIR COMPETITION

A unique choir competition in fascinating Vietnam. Vietnam is steadily rising as one of the top tourist attractions in the world and also its first-ever international choir competition enjoys great popularity since 2011. The Vietnam International Choir Competition biannually brings together choirs from the whole world for a combined experience of choral competitions, Friendship Concerts, Evaluation Performances and Individual Coachings – all in the breathtaking setting of ancient Vietnam: The well preserved Old Town of the host city Hội An has been declared a UNESCO Heritage Site in 1999.

The event has got a tremendously positive response from the recently invented activity – the Choir Party & Hoi An Legendary Night. In this magical night choirs get together to sing and dance, lanterns are lightened throughout the city and local food is served. In recent years the event has turned into a exceptional highlight in INTERKULTUR’s choral event calendar: A true celebration of the joy of music, singing and getting together surrounded by Vietnam’s special enchanting atmosphere.
