Bang An Tower is 12 km from Hoi An city and 30 km from Danang city. According to the inscription of stone stele found in Bang An, King Bhadravarman II built Linga Paramesvara (Supreme God - another name of Siva) for worshipping Shiva in the 12th century. Bang An is the only Champa tower with octagonal shape still exists today and the symbol of survival and development.
