The museum has one of the most unique collections relating to the Sa Huynh culture in the world. The Sa Huynh, who was the first owners of Hoi An trading port, had trading relationships with China, India, and South East Asia. About 216 objects which are around 2.000 years old from Sa Huynh culture are exhibited. These items were found through explorations and excavations at archaeological sites such as Hau Xa, Thanh Chiem, An Bang, Xuan Lam from 1989 to 1994.
