Duc An house possesses the ancient beauty and quietness which still exist in each simple item of the family. These objects are very casual in the house as oilamp, the pen shelf, the furniture, the four season paintings, which nearly reach hundreds of year. Coming to the house, visitors will have a chance to fell “Time flies like an arrow”. Duc An ancient house is built in the tradditional Vietnamese style to create a well ventilated space. The main building material is peck-wood in Quang Nam region. This wood has ability to stand hot and humid weather in Central Vietnam. Duc An old house is a place marked by the activities of the Vietnam Revolutionary Youth Association in Hoi An and Quang Nam province and associated with the Revolutionary fighter Cao Hong Lanh.
