Ngu Bang is also called Duong Thuong or the Chinese Assembly Hall. It was built in 1741 by five groups of Chinese people: Fukien, Trieu Chau, Cantonese, Hai Nam and Gia Ung. Here, they worship Thien Hau Thanh Mau and it is also used as a meeting place to do business. Its architecture is influenced by Chinese style.
