Fujian (Phuc Kien) Assembly Hall is located at 46 Tran Phu Street, Hoi An, on a high ground facing south. In 1757, the work was built on the base of an ancient Vietnamese pagoda called “Kim Son Tu”. This is a place to worship the guardian gods, the ancestors, to meet and it is a community space for overseas Chinese from Fujian state in Hoi An. The work was built in the style of the letter 国 (guó) in Chinese, including many layers: gate, triple gate, vestibule, East-West house, main hall, back hall and open courtyard space which is decorated with many ornamental plants and lakes. The whole assembly hall has a magnificent and majestic appearance in a large and sacred space. The decorative projects are carved vividly and sophisticatedly with many themes such as flowers, plants, birds, etc. This is the place to worship Thien Hau Thanh Mau and the guardian gods of water, money, and luck. Fujian (Phuc Kien) Assembly Hall is located at 46 Tran Phu Street, Hoi An, on a high ground facing south. In 1757, the work was built on the base of an ancient Vietnamese pagoda called “Kim Son Tu”.
