Founded in 1995, the Museum of Trade Ceramics exhibits a rare collection of 430 artifacts dating from the 9th to the 19th century. Most of the artifacts are originally from Central Asia, India, China, Japan, Thailand, Viet Nam and represent the importance of the ceramics trade to the development of the trading port of Hoi An. This museum also shows that Hoi An was once a busy international center for the exchange of not only business, but culture as well.
