The visit was a good chance for tourist attractions in Quang Nam to introduce and promote their typical tourism products and services to the Philippines, a potential market.

During the time in Quang Nam, the delegation went to several famous tourist destinations, including Hoi An ancient town, Cam Thanh nipa palm forest, Vin Wonders Nam Hoi An, Hoiana Hotel and Suites, Hoi An Impression Park, and Hoi An Memories show.

 Earlier, the delegation visited a lot of tourist attractions in Danang and Hue, such as Linh Ung Pagoda, Son Tra Peninsula, Dragon Bridge, Love Bridge... (Da Nang), Hue Citadel, Thien Mu Pagoda, Dong Ba market, An Dinh palace, listening to Hue folk songs on the Perfume River (Hue).

Reportedly, the Philippine love to travel in groups or families. So, after the visit to Quang Nam, Da Nang, and Hue, the travel agencies will set up tour programmes that are suitable for their customers’ tastes and demands.

The Philippines is a country with a large population of over 109 million people. In spite of a member of ASEAN, the Philippines is a relatively new market for Vietnam and Quang Nam tourism.

The launch of Manila-Danang direct flight on December 27, 2023 opened up the opportunities to Central Vietnam and Quang Nam tourism.
