Quang Nam promotes tourism in Sydney

Tiếp nối thành công chương trình quảng bá, xúc tiến du lịch Quảng Nam được tổ chức tại thành phố Melbourne, Úc vào ngày 11/9/2024; Hôm nay ngày 13/9/2024, 03 địa phương: Quảng Nam - Đà Nẵng - Thừa Thiên Huế tiếp tục tổ chức hoạt động quảng bá giới thiệu du lịch tại thành phố Sydney - Úc, nhân dịp thành phố Đà Nẵng tổ chức Hội thảo Xúc tiến Đầu tư - Du lịch tại Khách sạn Novotel Sydney Darling Square, thành phố Sydney, Úc. 

The delegation of Quang Nam province’s tourism officials, within the framework of the working trip to Australia, participated in a tourism promotion programme in Sydney, Australia, on September 13.

The event was jointly organized by three localities in Central Vietnam, including Quang Nam, Da Nang, and Thua Thien Hue.

Present at the event were Mr. Nguyen Dang Thang - Consul General of Viet Nam in Sydney, Mr. Robert Kok - Deputy Lord Mayor of Sydney, and more than 50 guests representing airlines, investors, tourism and service associations, businesses, and press agencies in Sydney.

As part of the seminar, the tourism sectors of Quang Nam, Da Nang and Thua Thien Hue signed a cooperation agreement with the Western Sydney Tourism Business Association.

The Quang Nam delegation also took part in a meeting and worked with Western Sydney International Airport to discuss plans to open a direct flight from Da Nang to Sydney in the near future, for Australian and Vietnamese tourism businesses to cooperate and exchange customers.

Da Nang, Quang Nam and Thua Thien Hue signed a cooperation agreement with the Western Sydney Tourism Association.

Reportedly, Quang Nam, Da Nang and Thua Thien Hue, in collaboration with Vietnam Airlines, organized a famtrip and presstrip group of 15 Australian travel agencies and press to experience the tourism programme “Central Heritage Journey” connecting Thua Thien Hue, Da Nang, and Quang Nam.
