Ban Thach hot spring is located in Thach Thuong village, Que Phong commune, Que Son district. The stream is a system of hot water jets spewing up from the sandy layer, forming a 40 cm deep pool on a small field in the middle of the valley at the foot of Hon Tau mountain.
According to researchers, Ban Thach hot spring was formed after underground earthquakes millions of years ago. The average water temperature is about 700C, the water level is from 0.7 to 0.85 m. Like the classification in other hot mineral springs, Ban Thach hot spring consists of two groups of veins 50-70 m apart called Vung Upper and Vung Under. The total flow is about 2l/s. 50m from the source of the road to the East, encounter strongly fractured biotite granite. Physical properties Clear water, odorless, pale taste. With ideal mineral content containing many precious minerals such as: calcium, potassium, sulfur, iron... and many other minerals.
Coming here, visitors can soak in the hot mineral stream to both relax, protect their health, and have the opportunity to be close to nature while watching the sunrise or sunset on the green rice fields at the foot of Hon Tau mountain.
