Pơmu Heritage Forest is located in Tr'hy and Axan communes, Tay Giang district. It is about 32 km from the administrative center of Tay Giang district. Pơmu complex was discovered in 2001 on a large plain with more than 2001 trees, densely distributed on the top of Zilieng mountain with an altitude of 1,500m above sea level. After two rounds of surveying, measuring and documenting for recognition of heritage trees, the Tay Giang Pơmu forest complex was recognized by the Vietnam Association for Nature and Environment Protection of 1,146 pomu trees aged 200 years or more as Vietnamese Heritage trees. The largest tree has a diameter of 3.5 meters. The oldest tree is 1,838 years old. Many Pơmu trees have beautiful shapes such as elephants, dragons, tigers, Bridge Pagoda, octopus, lovers...

In the center of Pơmu Heritage forest is the Cơtu traditional village space with 1 Gươl (a common house of the village), 08 houses on stilts, 01 longhouse for guests to stay and experience the unique village culture of Cơtu in the highlands where it borders Laos.

Every year in January (lunar calendar), the Cơtu people often organize the Forest Thanksgiving Festival to promote the values ​​of Cotu culture in forest protection, cultural and historical values of the Tay Giang Pomu Heritage Forest Complex to domestic and international tourists.
