The Pơ mu Cypress Forest is on Zi’lieng Mountain, about 1,500 metres above sea level. Pơmu Cypress is a sacred tree which always protected strictly by local people. This is a rare wood with good features as distinctive smell, beautiful wood texture and termite prevention. The Pơmu Cypress Forest of Tay Giang district was recognized as heritage trees of Vietnam by The Vietnam Association for the Conservation of Nature and the Environment.
