Approximately 07 km from the city of Tam Ky and 45 km from Hoi An city, The Ky Anh tunnel is 32 km long and was first created from 1965 to 1967. Inside this tunnel are numerous offshoots and hideouts, used as hospitals, for food storage, and for military operations. It is recognized as a principle stronghold for the regions military operations during the American war for Vietnamese unification. This tunnel has been recognized as a national historical relic.
